The original Grant County Snowmobile Association was formed in 1969 with John Saunders of Seneca serving first President and Charlotte Blank saerving Secretary-Treasure. The original members were John Saunders, Jim Sproul, Bob Lemcke, Rod Barrot, Leroy Smith, Ted Campbell, Punk Brazil, Byron Haberly, Jerry Pettyjohn, Tom Switzer, A.C.Bond, Kenny Blank, Terry Karp, Leonard Adams, Sonny Rider
Curtis Carpenter, Wes {Fuzzy} Campbell, Bert Miller, George Hansen, Jim Moulton and Leonard Trafton. Many years of good times and great commodore were had before the club dissolved from lack of interest before the currant Snowballers was formed.

On Jan. 22,1987, the current Grant County Snowballers Inc. was formed. The first board of directors were Mike Moore, Dan Graikowski, Rand Simmons, Howard Gieger, and Bettie Huddleston. The Huddleston Sno-Park was named in memory of Flynn and Bettie Huddleston. The club has evolved with time with many great presidents and active members. We have a fantastic heated shelter and large parking areas. The Snowballers have the longest designated snowmobile trail system in Oregon. We help maintain over 800 miles of groomed trail in Grant County. The Snowballers are liable for 500+ miles of that system. You can ride on groomed trails from Idlewild Sno-Park North of Burns to Tollgate near the Washington boarder.
